    LSPN North America Spring Highlights

    This year's attendees include:

America's Premier Life Sciences IP Event - When Tickets Are Gone, They're Gone

LSPN Spring 2025 sold out weeks before the event, and we expect 2026 to follow suit. With demand at an all-time high and attendance intentionally capped to preserve the intimate, high-caliber networking experience that defines LSPN, early registration is essential. Don't miss your chance to secure your place at the most sought-after life sciences IP gathering in North America—register now before spots fill up.

Why LSPN North America is Now America's Most Sought-After IP Event

For eight years, we've brought together the brightest minds in pharmaceutical and life sciences intellectual property. What started as a vision has become the definitive platform where patent professionals from across Europe, North and South America, and Asia converge for two intensive days of strategic insights, cutting-edge legal developments, and unparalleled networking opportunities.

In an industry where robust IP valuation and protection determine the success of biopharma and medtech companies at every stage, LSPN delivers the strategies, connections, and knowledge that drive competitive advantage. This is where innovation meets protection, where global IP strategies are forged, and where the future of life sciences intellectual property is shaped.

    At this year's LSPN Spring:

    • Master the evolving patent eligibility and prosecution landscape â€” Gain actionable strategies for navigating §101, §112, and obviousness challenges across antibodies, biologics, diagnostics, and AI-integrated innovations, with comparative insights from USPTO and EPO perspectives.
    • Defend and extend your market exclusivity â€” Hear from leading in-house and outside counsel on proven Hatch-Waxman and BPCIA litigation tactics, Orange Book positioning, biosimilar defense, and lifecycle management strategies to protect your most valuable assets.
    • Unlock the potential of cutting-edge therapeutic modalities — Explore the latest IP strategies for gene editing, cell therapies, RNA technologies, and AI-driven drug discovery, including CRISPR licensing, freedom-to-operate, and claiming strategies in rapidly evolving spaces.
    • Navigate the global patent landscape with confidence â€” Stay ahead of the latest UPC and EPO developments, parallel revocation proceedings, inventive step divergence, and cross-border portfolio management strategies spanning Europe, Asia, LATAM, and beyond.
    • Build smarter, leaner IP operations â€” Discover how leading life sciences companies are leveraging AI-powered prosecution tools, optimising in-house versus outsourced workflows, and structuring high-value licensing and M&A transactions to maximise ROI.

    Who attends LSPN Spring?

We are delighted to be working with our Charity Partner for 2026 - The Innovation Trail, Boston

The Innovation Trail is a recently-formed nonprofit that brings Boston’s legacy of world-changing innovation to life for visitors, residents, students, and teachers. Our mission is helping to light the path for young people to envision themselves as the creators of tomorrow’s breakthroughs. The Trail organizes special events over the course of the year, partners with Boston's STEM-focused museums, and runs frequent walking tours. (There's also a self-guided audio tour you can find on our website, iTunes, and Spotify.)

Join the Innovation Trail – Exclusive for LSPN Delegates
LSPN delegates are invited to participate in the Innovation Trail tour on April 28, the evening before the conference. Please meet at the Hyatt at 5:30pm, with the tour concluding at 7:00pm.
